The official website and Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Asato Asato’s 86 EIGHTY-SIX light novel series revealed a new promotional video, additional cast, theme song artists, and the October 2 premiere date for the anime’s upcoming second cour. A new key visual was also revealed.
The newly added cast members include Misaki Kuno as Frederica Rosenfort, Yuya Uchida as Ernst Zimmerman, and Asuna Tomari as Shiden Iida.
Other cast members include Shōya Chiba as Shinei Nōzen, Ikumi Hasegawa as Vladilena Mirizaré, Seiichirō Yamashita as Raiden Shuga, Natsumi Fujiwara as Theoto Rikka, Saori Hayami as Anju Emma, Sayumi Suzushiro as Kurena Kukumila, Riho Sugiyama as Henrietta Penrose, Satoshi Mikami as Jerome Karlstahl, Taiten Kusonoki as Lev Aldrecht, Haruka Shiraishi as Kaie Tanya, Haruki Ishiya as Daiya Irma, Daiki Yamashita as Haruto Keats, Taishi Murata as Kujō Niko, Shinei Ueki as Rui Kino, Masamu Ono as Chise Ōsen, Katsumi Fukuhara as Tōma Sōbi, Taito Ban as Tōzan Sasha, Shizuka Ishigami as Rekka Rin, Yuka Nukui as Mikuri Kairō, and Mayuko Kazama as Maina Yatomika.
The anime’s staff includes Toshimasa Ishī (storyboarder on Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia and Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld) as director, Toshiya Ōno (The Promised Neverland, Land of the Lustrous) as series composer, and Tetsuya Kawakami (Interviews With Monster Girls, The Asterisk War) as character designer.
Other staff members include Masanobu Nomura (BNA: Brand New Animal) and Yumi Horikoshi (Fafner the BEYOND Ep 6,7,8) as art directors, Nagisa Abe (Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare) as color designer, Masaharu Okazaki (Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare) as photography director, Hiroyuki Yoshida (22/7) as CG director, and Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto as music composers. The animation production is from A-1 Pictures. amazarashi will perform the opening theme song “Kyōkaisen” (Boundary Line), and Regal Lily will perform the ending theme song “Alchemila.”
