2nd Generation hololive VTuber Minato Aqua has released an anime music video for her 2022 single “aqutan no koto sukisugi☆song.”
While the video only covers a two-minute “short version” of the song, it provides many loveable shots and drawings of Aqua, who is depicted as carrying out her maid duties, gaming, and flashing smiles.
wannyanpu is credited with the animation and composition of the “aqutan no koto sukisugi☆song” music video, while Koniro is the director.
The video was released two days ahead of Aqua’s graduation concert on August 28 JST. The “marine maid-styled virtual maid,” who made her debut in August 2018, announced her intention to graduate on August 6, 2024 JST. She will be the first hololive member to do so since hololive English’s Tsukumo Sana in 2022, and the first Japanese branch member to graduate since Kiryu Coco in 2021.
As part of the lead-up to Aqua’s graduation, the holo no graffiti comedy animation series recently released a farewell-themed episode titled “See You!”
