Aniplex of America and Crunchyroll have announced that those in North America can now purchase tickets for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village-, which begins screening on March 3. The tickets can be bought here.
The general screening will be preceded by a sold-out advanced screening at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theatre on February 18 that has Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado) making an appearance and Aimer performing.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- is a compilation of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc‘s 10th and 11th episodes and the hour-long first episode of the upcoming Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc. The movie premiered in Japan on February 3 and made 1,158,765,410 yen (~US$8.792 million) in its first three days.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc will begin airing in April.
Koyoharu Gotouge‘s Shueisha-published Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga ran from 2016 to 2020 with 23 tankoubon volumes. A TV anime adaptation aired in 2019 and was followed by the wildly popular Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train in 2020. The TV series continued in 2021 with a TV broadcast version of Mugen Train and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc to be the latest season. The anime are produced by Ufotable with Haruo Sotozaki as director and Akira Matsushima as character designer and chief animation director.
