Studio Trigger’s upcoming SSSS.Dynazenon anime has received a new trailer, which revealed its release date to be April 2021. In addition, new cast details were revealed, and an official English website was also launched.
The new cast details reveal that Hiroshi Kamiya (Attack on Titan, Monogatari series), Yuuma Uchida (Jujutsu Kaisen), Ayaka Suwa (Smile Down the Runway), and Kouki Uchiyama (Yuri!!! on Ice) are voicing Juuga, Onija, Mujina, and Sizumu respectively. Other new cast members include Mariya Ise (The Promised Neverland) as Inamoto-san, Azusa Tadokoro (Masamune-kun’s Revenge) as Mei, Jin Ogasawara (After School Dice Club) as Awaki, Gakuto Kajiwara (Fire Force) as Nazumi, Rio Tsuchiya as Ranka, and Hikaru Touno (Revue Starlight) as Kaneishi.
The previously revealed cast members include Daiki Hamano (Tsukiuta. The Animation 2) as Gauma, Junya Enoki (Tonikawa: Fly Me To The Moon) as Yomogi Asanaka, Shion Wakayama (Dr. Stone) as Yume Minami, Yuuichirou Umehara (Goblin Slayer) as Koyomi Yamanaka, and Chika Anzai (Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) as Chise Asukagawa.
Several key staff from SSSS.Gridman are reprising their roles, such as Akira Amemiya as director, Keiichi Hasegawa as scriptwriter, Masaru Sakamoto as character designer, and Shiro Sagisu as music composer. Tsuyoshi Nonaka, who was the assistant weapon designer on SSSS.Gridman, is the Dynazenon designer for SSSS.Dynazenon.
Graphinica is once again handling the 3DCG animation, with Shinichi Miyakaze returning as 3DCG chief director. Other Graphinica staff in SSSS.Dynazenon include Kouji Ichikawa (Blade of the Immortal) as 3DCG director and Katsunori Shiradou (previously assistant photography director for SSSS.Gridman) as photography director.
The plot for SSSS.Dynazenon has not yet been revealed, but the anime is part of the “GRIDMAN UNIVERSE”
