The animated opening “music video” for the upcoming Omega Strikers has been released ahead of the game’s April 27 launch. The opening is produced by Studio TRIGGER.

Yoh Yoshinari (BNA and Little Witch Academia director) directed the opening and also served as animation character designer and animation director. Other staff include:

• Storyboard artist: Hiroyuki Imaishi (Cyberpunk Edgerunners director)
• Unit director: Yuuichi Shimodaira (Gridman Universe assistant director)
• Color designer: Yukiko Kakita (Cyberpunk Edgerunners)
• Art director: Masanobu Nomura (Cyberpunk Edgerunners)
• Composite director: Nozomi Shitara (BNA, The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses)

The Japanese version of the opening song, “GO STRIKE!,” is sung by Shihori.

Studio TRIGGER has previously produced opening animations for games like PROJECT X ZONE, Shantae and the Seven Sirens, and Metallic Child

Omega Strikers is a free-to-play “footbrawler” developed by Odyssey Interactive for PC, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. Players will pick one character out of a “growing cast” of Strikers, who each have a set of abilities, and attempt to “Smash opponents off the arena and score goals in lightning-fast 3v3 matches.” The game will support cross-play and cross-progression.
