A new 55-second PV trailer and key visual has been released for the upcoming Nights With a Cat anime series. Both of them showcase the owners and their adorable cat enjoying everyday nightlife. The anime is scheduled to premiere on August 3, 2022.
The main voice cast for Nights With a Cat include Satoshi Hino as Fuuta-kun, Atsumi Tanezaki as Pii-chan, and Ayahi Takagaki as Kyuruga. Singer-songwriter Kashitaoru Itou is singing the anime’s theme song “Hinata no Kuni.”
The anime production team consists of Minoru Ashina (Isekai Quartet) as director and screenwriter, Minoru Takehara (Isekai Quartet) as character designer and animation director, and Kana Utatane (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform) as music composer. Studio PuYUKAI is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the manga series by Kyuryu Z, who first published the series on December 2019. Three tankoubon volumes have been published so far.
