Netflix announced a new parkour anime film titled Bubble. It will be coming to the streaming platform worldwide beginning April 28.
Key staff includes Tetsuro Araki (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress) as director, Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) as writer, Takeshi Obata (Death Note) as character designer, Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, 86 EIGHTY SIX) as music composer, and animation production by WIT Studio (Ranking of Kings, Attack on Titan).
The main cast includes Jun Shison as the protagonist Hibiki alongside Mamoru Miyano, Yuki Kaji, and Tasuku Hatanaka.
Netflix describes the series as a thrilling anime film set in Tokyo after bubbles appeared that manipulate the laws of gravity. The city becomes a playground for groups of young people who have lost their family to engage in parkour team battles.
