Mushoku Tensei Characters Join LINE Rangers Tower Defense Game In Collaboration

The LINE Rangers mobile tower defense game is currently having a collaboration with Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. It will run until August 31.

The collaboration sees Rudeus, Eris, Roxy, Ghislaine, and Ruijerd appearing as exclusive tie-up Rangers, with Ghislaine being offered as a special login bonus during the event.

There are also special tie-up Gears “simulating well-known items from the series” to be found as well as a collaboration stage called Planet Mushoku Tensei. Clearing the stage will net players in-app items like Coins, Feathers, evolution materials, and an 8-Star Ghislaine tie-up Ranger.

LINE describes the game as:

LINE Rangers is a tower defense game featuring LINE characters. An alien army has taken Sally captive, and the other LINE characters must team up and fight across more than 60 stages to rescue her.

As well as the familiar Moon, Brown, and Cony, the game features over 70 different characters, each with their own skills and characteristics. The player must choose the best combination of attack, defense, speed, or balanced characters to form the strongest team possible.

The Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime premiered in January and is set to kick off its second cour on October 3. It is based on the light novels by Rifujin na Magonote.

Funimation describes the series as:

The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby.

With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he’s still a total pervert.
