Horror Comedy Anime Mieruko-chan Gets New Trailer, October Release Window

The Mieruko-chan horror comedy anime has received a new trailer and an October release window. The new trailer highlights the cast of the upcoming anime.

Sora Amamiya is voicing main character Miko Yotsuya, while the other cast members include Kaede Hondo as Hana Yurikawa and Ayane Sakura as Yuria Nigureda. 

Additionally, a new teaser visual was released for the show.

Mieruko-chan is an adaptation of the Kadokawa-published manga by Tomoki Izumi. The story follows Miko, a girl who can see hideous ghosts. Miko tries to ignore the ghosts despite constantly coming across them.

The staff includes Yuki Ogawa (Ishuzoku Reviewers) as director, Kenta Ihara (Shachibato! President, It’s Time for Battle!) as series composition and scriptwriter, Chikashi Kadekaru (Scared Rider Xechs) as character designer and one of the six chief animation directors, Makoto Uno (Ishuzoku Reviewers character designer) as one of the ghost designers, KUSANAGI’s Ayano Okamoto (HYPNOSISMIC –Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima) as art director, and Ritsuko Utagawa (MEGALOBOX 2: NOMAD) as color designer. Passione is in charge of the animation production.
