Warner Bros. Japan released the first preview trailer for the TV anime adaptation of the mobile game Girls’ Frontline (Doll’s Frontline in Japan). The anime is scheduled for 2021.
The main cast was also announced. Haruka Tomatsu (Kyoko Hori from Horimiya) will voice as M4A1, Nozomi Yamane (Javelin from Azur Lane) will voice M16A1, Emiri Kato (Kyuubey from Madoka Magica) will voice ST AR-15, and Yukari Tamura (Jibril from No Game No Life) will voice M4 SOPOMOD II.
The preview trailer offered the first glimpse at the anime adaptation.
Asahi Productions (Heaven’s Design Team) is in charge of the animation production. The animation project is a joint production between Chinese game developer SUNBORN and Warner Bros. Japan.
Girls’ Frontline is currently available on iOS and Android worldwide. The English version was released on May 8, 2018. The game is developed by MICA TEAM.
