hololive has announced its newest VTuber unit, Asobi★Mawaritai!, marking the agency’s first new unit debut in roughly two years. The four-member group consists of Achichi Mela, Sorashina Sopia, Suzuna Tsuzuri, and Hyakuto Kyoko.
According to the company, the unit’s lore describes them as ‘operating out of a coin laundromat on the edge of town in search of “the ultimate extraordinary.”‘ The group’s motto is “Wash the world in a whirlpool of play!” according to the unit’s official YouTube channel.
Achichi Mela

Her booming voice makes the megaphone unnecessary, but she never parts with it because it boosts her hype levels.
Each member’s individual debut stream will air in relay format on their own channel:

- September 25 (Fri): Suzuna Tsuzuri at 19:00 JST, Hyakuto Kyoko at 20:00 JST
The unit will hold its first group collaboration stream together at 21:00 JST on September 25 via the official Asobi★Mawaritai! YouTube channel.
