The staff and cast for the Magical Girl Raising Project: Restart anime adaptation have been announced.
As per Comic Natalie, Magical Girl Raising Project series composer-cum-scriptwriter Takawo Yoshioka is reprising their role, while the previous anime’s SD character designer Masako Ito is now the character designer. Director Hiroyuki Hashimoto previously stated his return when the project was announced in January 2023.

Magical Girl Raising Project: Restart, like 2016’s Magical Girl Raising Project before it, is based on the light novel series by Magical Girl Raising Project: Restart is the title of the second and third volumes of the series (which serve as a two-part read), and Yen Press describes the first of these volumes as:
The hit social network game “The Magical Girl Raising Project” selects one out of every tens of thousands of players to become a real life magical girl. The lucky chosen girls gain magic powers as well as incredibly good fortune, and spend their days blissfully. But one day, an absolute announcement declares that the number of magical girls has risen too high and must be cut down to half. The light novel series, which is illustrated by Marui-no and published under TAKARAJIMASHA’s Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! bunko label, started in 2012 and has 18 volumes as of November 2023. It has also inspired several manga.
