Anime streaming service Crunchyroll has announced that it has partnered with Discord to connect its “Rich Presence” integration between the two services. Users can now link their Discord and Crunchyroll accounts together, allowing them to share what they are watching from the streaming service in real-time.

“Rich Presence” is available anywhere users have access to Crunchyroll, in more than 200 countries and territories. To link accounts, Crunchyroll subscribers must visit the Discord web or desktop apps, go to user settings, navigate to Connections, and click the Crunchyroll logo.

Earlier this month, both companies strengthened their ties by giving Crunchyroll subscribers a one-month code for Discord Nitro, unlocking perks that give users more ways to customize their profiles and express themselves on Discord. Meanwhile, Nitro users were also offered one month of Crunchyroll’s Mega Fan premium subscription.
Crunchyroll previously launched its official Discord server this past October. New events and features will be steadily introduced for users in the official Crunchyroll server.
