Aniplex has released an introduction video with gameplay footage for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles‘s next paid DLC character, Gyutaro. Aptly, the video features Gyutaro battling Tanjiro and Tengen Uzui.

Gyutaro will become available for purchase on November 16. The Upper Rank Demon’s sister Daki was released last month for the Demon Slayer 3D fighting game. The Nintendo Japan webstore previously listed a release date of November 31 for Gyutaro.

The character packs for The Hinokami Chronicles have so far cost US$4.99 each, with the exception of the $9.99 Tanjiro, Zenitsu, & Inosuke (Entertainment District) pack. The DLCs allow their respective characters to be played in Versus mode and come with profile photos and quotes as well. A US$24.99 Character Pass is available as an alternative to getting the packs separately. Gyutaro is the last character pack according to the Pass’s details.

Developed by CyberConnect 2, The Hinokami Chronicles was released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and Steam in October 2021, and on Switch this June. The game has received free DLC characters in addition to the paid character packs post-launch. It is based on the anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge‘s Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- manga.
