The Macross YouTube channel has released an action-packed “VF ver.” trailer for Macross Delta: ZETTAI LIVE!!!!!!, which premieres in Japanese theaters on October 8. The trailer also features the song “Tsurami Genzai Shinkoukei” from Walküre Reborn!, the upcoming third album by Walküre that releases on October 13.
ZETTAI LIVE!!!!!! is a sequel to Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walküre, and will feature “a new story, new animation, and new songs.” The movie will see Walküre facing another idol unit called Yami_Q_ray.
ZETTAI LIVE!!!!!! will be released with the Macross Frontier F ~Toki no Meikyuu~ short, which appears to be a continuation of the Macross Frontier Movie: The Wings of Goodbye movie.
The Macross Delta series originally aired in 2015, while the Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walküre compilation film was released in 2018. Meanwhile, Macross Frontier originally aired in 2008, while the Macross Frontier – Movie 1: The False Songstress and Macross Frontier Movie 2: The Wings of Goodbye compilation movies were released in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
