Kin-iro Mosaic Thank you!! Anime Film Gets New Trailer

The official website for the anime adaptation of Yui Hara’s Kin-iro Mosaic manga revealed a new trailer for its upcoming anime film, Kin-iro Mosaic Thank you!!. The trailer features the characters on a school trip to Nara and Kyoto. The film is set to premiere on August 20. 

The film’s main staff includes Munenori Nawa (NAKAIMO – My Little Sister Is Among Them!) as director, Yuniko Ayana (Hello!! KINMOZA, Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic) as scriptwriter, Takashi Yamamoto (Macross Plus) as assistant director, Masaru Koseki (Mushi-Shi), Naoki Yamauchi (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) and Kazuyuki Ueda as chief animation directors, Ruka Kawada (The Ancient Magus’ Bride) as music composer, and Kazuyuki Ueda (Hello!! KINMOZA, Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic) as character designer. The animation production will be from Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. The anime’s theme song “Kin-iro Rhodanthe” will be performed by voice actress group Rhodanthe*.

The first Kin-iro Mosaic anime series aired in 2013, and the second season, Hello!! KINMOZA, premiered in 2015. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired and describes the story as:

Shinobu Omiya is a 15-year old school girl. She may look like a classically Japanese girl with raven black hair and sweet eyes, but when she was a junior high school student, she actually went to stay with a host family in the UK. She misses her time abroad and one day a letter arrives for her by air mail.
