Hikaru Utada To Perform Opening For To Your Eternity Anime

Japanese pop star Hikaru Utada will perform the opening song for upcoming fantasy anime To Your Eternity. The song, titled “PINK BLOOD,” marks Utada’s first time performing for an anime TV series.

Prior to To Your Eternity, Utaka Hikaru’s anime song contributions consisted of the ending themes for the Rebuild of Evangelion movie tetralogy and the opening for the OVA series Freedom

On January 27, Milan Records released a digital EP consisting of Utada’s Rebuild of Evangelion songs, including Evangelion3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time‘s “One Last Kiss.”

To Your Eternity is set to premiere on April 12. An adaptation of the manga series by A Silent Voice mangaka Yoshitoki Ooima, the show was originally set to premiere in October 2020, before being pushed to April 2021 in September 2020.
