Upcoming Fate/Grand Order Short Anime Gets New Teaser Visual

The upcoming Fate Project New Year’s Eve TV special, simply labelled as a “Completely New Fate/Grand Order Short Anime,” received a new teaser visual. The anime will air on December 31 from 10 PM to 11.55 PM GMT+9 in Japan.

The tagline on the official website roughly translates to, “Thank you for waiting all this while, but the carnival will begin.”

There will also be a campaign that involves Twitter users changing their profile pictures to an image from the Fate/Grand Order short anime. 100 people will be chosen via lottery to receive a clear file featuring the full version of the teaser visual as a present.

The anime received its first key visual in December 2. It depicted the same setting as the new teaser visual sans the Christmas decorations, and with the visual’s featured character mostly hidden from sight.

Melvyn originally wanted to write about video games, and he did so for a few years, starting from his college days. He still writes about video games sometimes, but now focuses on anime-related news content and the occasional review. Some of his free time is spent self-learning Japanese, both out of interest in the language and because English-translated light novels and manga are expensive. Every anime season, Melvyn looks forward to discovering new standout episodes and OP/ED animation sequences, as well as learning about the storyboard artists and directors behind them.
