Funimation Brings “Fire Force” Dub World Premiere to Anime Expo 2019

Anime Expo announced Funimation is bringing the English dub world premiere of the TV anime series Fire Force featuring guests including the manga series author, Atsushi Ohkubo and editor Megumu Tsuchiya. Ohkubo is best known for his first work, Soul Eater

Attendees can catch the screening on July 5th at 1 PM in Live Programming 3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

David Production is in charge of the animation production. Yuki Yase is directing the series and series composition by Yamato Haishima.

The show is described as:

Tokyo is burning, and citizens are mysteriously suffering from spontaneous human combustion all throughout the city! Responsible for snuffing out this inferno is the Fire Force, and Shinra is ready to join their fight. Now, as part of Company 8, he’ll use his devil’s footprints to help keep the city from turning to ash! But his past and a burning secret behind the scenes could set everything ablaze.

Regular anime broadcasting is slated for July 5, 2019.
