The official Twitter account of DARLING in the FRANKXX released a new commercial and visual. Both Studio Trigger and A-1 Pictures are producing the original anime. A-1 Pictures announced the anime during its panel at Anime Expo 2017.

The commercial features a robot, “Franxx,” who is a girl with a steel body and giant spear. The phrases “the girl who became a giant weapon” and “a stranger is taking over my body” were also hinted in the commercial.
Additional details such as the release date has yet to be announced.
