A trailer and main visual have been released for the upcoming Laid-Back Camp Season 3. The former includes previews of the opening song “Laid-back Journey” by Kimi no Ne and the ending song “So Precious” by Asaka.
Laid-Back Camp Season 3 is set to premiere on April 4. It is based on the Houbunsha-published manga by Afro, which began in 2015 and has 16 tankoubon volumes as of March 2024. The manga was first serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward but is now in the COMIC FUZ app.
Yen Press describes the manga as:
Rin enjoys camping by the lakeshore, Mt. Fuji in view. Nadeshiko rides her bike to see Mt. Fuji, too. As the two eat cup noodles together, what scenery will they behold? This series will make readers fall in love with camping!
The first two seasons of Laid-Back Camp premiered in 2018 and 2021. An anime movie following the cast as adults was released in Japan in July 2022. An anime adaptation of the Room Camp spin-off premiered in 2020. Season 3 is produced by a different animation production studio than the earlier main entries and has some staff changes.
