Bilibili Attends Anime Expo 2023 in Los Angeles

Chinese streaming platform Bilibili announced its participation and presence at Anime Expo 2023, which will be held in Los Angeles from July 1-4, 2023. 

Bilibili will host a special screening event for the second season of LINK CLICK at the JW Marriott Los Angeles on July 2, 2023 at 7:00 PM PST. The second season of the Chinese animated series will make its debut outside of China for the first time.

Bilibili will also have a booth located in the South Hall Lobby SF4 at the convention, showcasing the vibrant world of Chinese animation through a collection of high quality Chinese animated titles produced by Bilibili, such as LINK CLICK and Heaven Official‘s Blessing.

Haolin (also known as Li Haoling), the director of LINK CLICK, expressed his excitement for the upcoming second season, saying:

Link Click has always been a passion project close to my heart. It explores themes of friendship, courage, and the unbreakable bonds we form. I am thrilled to present the second season at Anime Expo 2023 and to share this journey with fans worldwide. We’re delighted to continue supporting Chinese anime and celebrating its unique creativity and storytelling.

The second season of LINK CLICK will begin streaming on Bilibili on July 14, 2023. The 11-episode first season premiered on Bilibili in 2021 and was also streamed on Funimation. Studio LAN handled the animation production for the series. 

Li Haoling (Flavors of Youth “Love in Shanghai” short director) directed and wrote the first season with LAN, Huang Simeng, and Xiong Dan as character designers. INPLICK provided the original character designs.

Crunchyroll is currently streaming the animated series and describes the synopsis as:

Using superpowers to enter their clientele’s photos one by one, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang take their work seriously at “Time Photo Studio,” a small photography shop set in the backdrop of a modern metropolis. Each job can be full of danger, but nothing is more important than fulfilling every order, no matter the scale…or peril involved!
