Aqua, Ruby, and Kana from the OSHI NO KO anime series have appeared in two new commercials with haircare and beauty brand Hot Pepper Beauty. A visual featuring all three characters has also been released.
The two commercials feature one version with Aqua and Ruby and another with Aqua and Kana.
The collaboration is part of a wider campaign with Hot Pepper Beauty, who first launched the partnership in early April. The visual and two commercials feature the OSHI NO KO characters with stylized haircuts inspired by Hot Pepper Beauty’s hair style guide. The chosen hair design for each character was voted on by people who accessed the campaign’s official webpage.
Additionally, special framed posters and bromide photo items of the OSHI NO KO characters are also being given away, as part of the collaboration campaign. To enter the contest, participants should first follow the campaign’s official Twitter account (@oshigamideikou). Afterwards, they should retweet the respective announcement tweets with the commercials they like most.

Two-hundred random participants will win the Aqua and Ruby bromide items. Another 200 random participants will receive the Aqua and Kana bromide items. Moreover, 50 other participants will receive a framed poster of the winning OSHI NO KO pair. The 50 winners will be entered into a lottery after retweeting the announcement tweet with the winning pair and most retweets.
Giveaway winners will be contacted via DM on Twitter. Participants will be unable to choose which item they will receive, should they win the lottery. The contest will end on June 28, 2023, and the commercial with the most retweets will be announced the following day.
