HIDIVE has announced that it has exclusively licensed the fantasy adventure TV anime <\/span>My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!<\/span><\/i> for its upcoming Winter 2024 simulcast lineup. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

HIDIVE will host the North American premiere of the anime\u2019s first episode on November 17, 2023 at Anime NYC in New York City.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered<\/span><\/i><\/a> is part of <\/span>Sentai Filmworks\u2019 multi-year agreement with Mainichi Broadcasting System<\/span><\/a> that was announced earlier this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Masakazu Hishida<\/b> (<\/span>Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon<\/span><\/i> Season 2) is directing the anime series and serving as series composer and scriptwriter under his <\/span>Jou Aoba<\/b> pen name. <\/span>Sayuri Sakimoto<\/b> (<\/span>Orient<\/span><\/i> character designer) is the character designer while T<\/em><\/span>he Most Heretical Last Boss Queen<\/span><\/i>\u2018s <\/span>Hanae Nakamura<\/b>, <\/span>Tatsuhiko Saiki<\/b>, and <\/span>Kanade Sakuma<\/b> are composing the musical score with <\/span>Daisuke Kadowaki<\/b>. <\/span>Okuruto Noboru <\/b>is handling the animation production for the series.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the voice cast includes <\/span>Kouki Uchiyama <\/b>as Yogiri Takato, <\/span>Miyu Tomita<\/b> as Tomochika Dannoura, <\/span>Tomoko Kaneda<\/b> as Mokomoko Dannoura, and <\/span>Yui Horie<\/b> as Sion.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>original light novel series<\/span><\/a> is written by <\/span>Tsuyoshi Fujitaka<\/b> and illustrated by <\/span>Chisato Naruse<\/b> and were published from October 15, 2016 to March 15, 2023. A total of 14 volumes were released under Earth Star Entertainment’s Earth Star Novel label as of March 2023. The light novels originally began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou from February 21, 2016 until March 15, 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The light novels have also inspired a manga adaptation by <\/span>Hanamaru Nanto<\/b> that began in 2018.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
