Additionally, it was revealed that the anime will premiere on July 2 (effectively July 3 at 12 AM JST) in Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The&nbsp;anime<em>&nbsp;<\/em>is based on the KADOKAWA-published isekai light novel series written by&nbsp;<strong>Rifujin na Magonote<\/strong>&nbsp;with illustrations from&nbsp;<strong>Shirotaka<\/strong>, which are published under the MF Books label. The light novels began in 2014 and ended in November 2022 with 26 volumes.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Seven Seas describes the series as:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Kicked out by his family and wandering the streets, an unemployed 34-year-old shut-in thinks he\u2019s hit rock-bottom\u2014just as he\u2019s hit and killed by a speeding truck!
