For the first time in Anime Trending history, two anime of the same genre has occupied the top two spots as Carole and Tuesday and Kono Oto Tomare (by virtue of technicality) has advanced in this week\u2019s anime charts. It was a Cinderella type of ride for both who started not that too high in the rankings at the beginning of the season, most especially for Kono Oto Tomare who began the season at #14 and only debuting in the Top 10 during the 4th<\/sup> week.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two anime improved all across the board and not just with the Top Anime Charts. The titular characters, Carole and Tuesday both returned in the female character charts while for Kono Oto Tomare, their two lead characters Chika Kudou and Satowa Houzuki both advanced in their respective charts with the former taking the #1 spot and the latter finishing at #3. The two\u2019s ship though fell to #3 and was behind the ships of Eiji Busujima-Nanako Yukishiro (Senryu Girl), which regained the top spot, and Nariyuki Yuiga-Kirisu Mafuyu (We Never Learn: Bokuben). Yukishiro also regained the top spot in the female character charts a week after being dethroned by Nezuko Kamado (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from his ship with his teacher Mafuyu, Yuiga added another ship in the couple-ship charts, completing his \u2018Infinity Gauntlet\u2019 and also tying Fuutarou Uesugi\u2019s (The Quintessential Quintuplets) record of having the most ship in the charts, as his ship with his senior Asumi Kominami debuts at #8. His other 3 ships with Uruka Takemoto, Fumino Furuhashi, and Rizu Ogata finished at #5, #7, #10 this week \u2013 with Takemoto edging Furuhashi for the first time among the Bokuben ships.<\/span><\/p>\n
