The anime is set to premiere one week early on the Japanese streaming service ABEMA on April 2, 2023. Regular television broadcasts will begin on April 9, 2023 and the series will stream on Crunchyroll.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The 90-second trailer previews the friendship between Akane Nishimura and Taiyou Takada, as well as many of the side characters throughout the show. Additional voice cast members include <\/span><b>Wakana Maruoka<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> as Kotarou Kitagawa, <\/span><b>Kouhei Amasaki<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> as Sumire Kakihara, and <\/span><b>Jun Fukuyama<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> as Akane\u2019s father.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><b>Shigenori Kageyama<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dynamic Chord<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) is directing the anime with<\/span><b> Takafumi Hoshikawa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Gekijouban Hakuouki<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Chapter 1 and 2 assistant director) and <\/span><b>Shougo Yasukawa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Executioner and Her Way of Life<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> series screenwriter) as series screenwriters, <\/span><b>Chikashi Kadekaru<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mieruko-chan<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) as character designer, and <\/span><b>Toshio Masuda <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kamisama Kiss<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) as music composer. <\/span><b>St.Signpost<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is handling the animation production for the anime series.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">My Clueless First Friend<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was launched in Square Enix\u2019s Gangan Joker magazine on May 22, 2018 after starting out as a Twitter webcomic.
