A new teaser visual has been released for the upcoming third season of <\/span>Dr. Stone<\/span><\/i>. The visual highlights Senku and his friends on a ship, sailing towards a new island. The latest season, titled <\/span>Dr. Stone: NEW WORLD<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>will <\/span>premiere sometime in Spring 2023<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Dr. Stone <\/span><\/i>\u201cRyusui\u201d special<\/span><\/a> recently aired this past July in anticipation of the third season.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Much of the production team of the \u201cRyusei\u201d special are returning to work on season three. The staff includes <\/span>Shuuhei Matsushita<\/b> (<\/span>Yu-No: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World <\/span><\/i>assistant director) as the new director, taking over for <\/span>Shinya Iino<\/b>, who directed the first two seasons. Other returning staff consists of <\/span>Yuuichirou Kido<\/b> as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, <\/span>Mayuko Iwasa<\/b> as character designer, <\/span>Yoshio Mizumura<\/b> as design worker, <\/span>Hiroyuki Horiuchi <\/b>as main animator, <\/span>Shunichirou Yoshihara<\/b> as art director, <\/span>Fusako Nakao<\/b> as color designer, and <\/span>Takeshi Kuzuyama<\/b> as photography director. <\/span>Tatsuya Katou<\/b>, <\/span>Hiroaki Tsutsumi<\/b>, and <\/span>YUKI KANESAKA<\/b> serve as music composers. <\/span>TMS Entertainment <\/b>is handling the animation production.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Stone<\/span><\/i> is based on the manga series by <\/span>Riichirou Inagaki<\/b> and <\/span>Boichi<\/b>, which ran in Shueisha\u2019s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from March 6, 2017 to March 7, 2022. Twenty-six tankoubon volumes have been released under the Jump Comics label in total. A spin-off titled <\/span>Dr. Stone Reboot: Byakuya<\/span><\/i> was serialized in the same magazine from October 28, 2019 to December 23, 2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
