The live-action drama adaptation of Reiji Miyajima<\/strong>‘s Rent-a-Girlfriend<\/em> manga has released its main visual, which features the five main characters of the story. A July 2 premiere date on TV Asahi was also revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABC TV will air the show from July 3.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rent-a-Girlfriend <\/em>manga began in 2017 and has 26 tankoubon volumes as of May 2022. An anime adaptation aired in 2020, with a second season<\/a> set to begin on July 1. Crunchyroll and Muse Asia will stream the second season as part of their Summer 2022 lineup.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main cast of the Rent-a-Girlfriend\u00a0<\/em>drama includes Naniwa Danshi’s Ryuusei Oonishi<\/strong> as Kazuya Kinoshita, Hiyori Sakurada <\/strong>as Chizuru Mizuhara, Shiori Akita<\/strong> as Mami Nanami, Mio Kudou<\/strong> as Ruka Sarashina, and Aika Sawaguchi<\/strong> as Sumi Sakurasawa. Daisuke Yamamoto<\/strong> (The Drifter <\/em>co-director) and Kazu Kon<\/strong> (Samurai Kaasan<\/em> episode director) are directing the show with a script from Kumiko Asou<\/strong> (The Diary About Ayame’s Easygoing and Aggressive Days<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
