Both anime are listed with a 2022 release date. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The videos take on the form of in-universe promotional videos by listing Hitomi Saito and Chiharu Oji, two characters from <em>Anime Supremacy<\/em>, as the respective directors of <em>Soundback: Kanade no Ishi<\/em> and <em>Unmei Sensen Liddell-light<\/em>. The former is a mecha anime, while the latter features magical girls. When only three titles among fifty might turn a profit, topping the charts is hardly an overambitious aim.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Yet as three women, a producer, a director, and an animator, survive in a business infamous for its murderous schedules, demoralizing compromises, and incorrigible men, moments of uplift emerge against all odds\u2014and how. More than just a window into an entertainment niche, here\u2019s a kickass ode to work.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The novel was first serialized in the An An women&#8217;s magazine from 2012 to 2014. A tankobon version was published in 2014, while a bunkobon version was published in 2017. The Japanese release featured illustrations from CLAMP, while its English translation featured illustrations from Hwei Lim.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Anime Supremacy <\/em>was the second runner-up in the 12th Japan Booksellers&#8217; Award.
