A short special trailer has been released for the ongoing Please Excuse My Younger Brothers TV anime series during the Aniplex One Focus online event, along with the announcement of a new opening theme for the second cour. The anime premiered in Japan on July 3, 2026 and is running for two consecutive cours.
The opening theme song for the anime’s second cour is “LOVE & LIKE” by Japanese rock band Neguse.

The first cour’s opening theme is “Aikotoba” by DISH// and the ending theme is “Clover” by Reira Ushio.
Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy Seasons 1-3, Tomo–chan Is a Girl!) is directing the anime series, with Megumi Shimizu (Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter) as series composer, and Shiori Hiraiwa (Tomo-Chan is a Girl!) and Yoko Fukushima (#COMPASS2.0) as character designers. Lay-duce is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars:

Akira Ozaki‘s manga series has been serialized in Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine since January 11, 2020. Fifteen tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of June 2026. It is known in Japanese as Uchi no Ototodomo ga Sumimasen.
The manga also inspired a live-action film that was released in December 2024.

Crunchyroll is streaming Please Excuse My Younger Brothers in select countries and territories. It describes the synopsis as:
High school sophomore Ito was excited for a new dad when her mom remarried, but she may have gained more than she bargained for when she found four younger stepbrothers waiting at home. There’s blunt but secretly caring Gen, calm Raku, reclusive Syu, and cheerful little Rui. Now, Ito must go from the quiet of being an only child to learning how to be the eldest sister of a lively household.
