Four new cast members were announced for the upcoming third season of Netflix’s One Piece live-action series. The announcement was made during the ONE PIECE DAY ’26 livestream.
The new cast members joining the series include:

Meanwhile, the cast for the live-action series’ third season stars:

- • Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp
- • Taz Skylar as Sanji
- • Lera Abova as Nico Robin / Miss All-Sunday
- • Charithra Chandran as Nefetari Vivi / Miss Wednesday
- • Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper (voice)
- • Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra
- • Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0
- • Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1
- • Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger
- • Cole Escola as Bon Clay
- • Xolo Mariduena as Portgas D. Ace
Production on the third season of the One Piece live-action series has also wrapped in South Africa and more cast members will be revealed at a later date.
The first season of the live-action One Piece series debuted in August 2023, which was followed by the second season’s release in March 2026. The third season will debut on Netflix sometime in 2027.
Joe Tracz (Percy Jackson and the Olympians and A Series of Unfortunate Events co-writer) and Ian Stokes are the showrunners for the third season. The live-action series was created and produced in partnership with Shueisha and Tomorrow Studios.
The second season previously had Matt Owens and Tracz as showrunners. Steven Maeda was co-showrunner with Owens for the first season and remained in the role for the second season as an executive producer. Owens later announced in March 2025 that he will not return to working on the series.
Netflix describes the third season of the One Piece live-action series as:
In Season 3, a rebellion “threatens to tear the nation apart, fueled in secret by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works, who seek to conquer Alabasta for themselves… In a season defined by unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats must face a brewing civil war and a powerful warlord to save Vivi’s kingdom before it crumbles into the sand.
The One Piece manga series by Eiichiro Oda began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on July 22, 1997 under the Jump Comics label. A total of 115 tankobon volumes have been released as of July 2026. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English.
The manga inspired a 1999 OVA from Production I.G and a long-running TV anime adaptation from Toei Animation that has been broadcasted since 1999. The franchise also inspired numerous spinoff titles, anime films, stage plays, video games, drama CDs, card games, art and guidebooks, and more.
Crunchyroll is streaming the One Piece TV anime series and describes the premise as:

With his rubber-like stretching powers granted by the supernatural Devil Fruit, the spirited young pirate seeks the legendary treasure known as the One Piece.
