EXCLUSIVE: Titan Manga Highlights Front Cover & Art of Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider Volume 1

Titan Manga is highlighting the English-language front cover and artwork of the upcoming first volume of the Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider manga series. The first volume will be released in bookstores and comic shops on October 6, 2026. 

The tokusatsu manga series by Air Master creator Yokusaru Shibata was launched in Hero’s Inc.’s Monthly Hero’s magazine on May 1, 2018, before being transferred to the Comiplex website on November 27, 2020. Eighteen tankobon volumes have been released as of December 2025. 

Titan Manga describes the main synopsis of the first volume as: 

When mild-mannered office worker Tojima Jr. decides he’s destined to become a real Kamen Rider – despite having no powers, no motorcycle, and no clue – he sets off on a chaotic quest that collides everyday absurdity with over-the-top tokusatsu action. From battling malfunctioning monster suits to surviving his company’s soul-crushing meetings, Tojima’s fight for justice becomes the funniest struggle of them all: growing up without giving up your dreams.

Titan Manga first announced the license acquisition of the manga for English release in December 2025.   

Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider inspired a 24-episode TV anime adaptation from LIDENFILMS that was released from October 2025 to March 2026. It was streamed on Crunchyroll in select countries and territories worldwide.
