Digital manga platform Omoi has announced the addition of a new fantasy manga series titled A Snow Fox at the Northern Fort. The manga will launch exclusively in English on the platform with its first chapter on June 25, 2026.
The manga series will be translated by Jan Mitsuko Cash, lettered by Barri Shrager, and edited by Sarah Burch. Omoi will release new English chapters weekly, with all chapters available for unlimited reading on the service’s premium subscription.
The manga is written by Tsukasa Mikuni and drawn by Tawa Akeno. It was first serialized on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website on September 8, 2020. Its Japanese title is Kita no Toridenite. The series began as a web novel series on Shosetsuka ni Naro in February 2014.
The light novel series was first published in Japan in March 2015 and features illustrations by Sochu (who is also credited with the manga’s original character designs). Three volumes have been released as of March 2022.
