“Family” Trailer and Visual Released for The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Season 2, Premiere Date Also Announced 


The second season of The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses anime has received a “Family ver.” trailer and key visual that highlights the waitresses of the Family café, the rival of the Familia café, plus a July 4 premiere date and cast details for the aforementioned waitresses.

Voicing the Family waitresses are Rie Takahashi as Mao Takasaki, Ayana Taketatsu as Ririka Chiyoda, Reina Ueda as Moemi Soya, Kana Hanazawa as Hekiru Yoshino, and Yu Serizawa as Azuma Valentina.

The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses is based on the manga by Koji Seo (A Town Where You LiveFuuka), which started in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2021 and has 14 tankoubon volumes as of February 2024. Kodansha USA describes the manga as: 

When Hayato’s grandmother passed, he planned to sell her rundown café on the shore—not realizing that it was also home to five young women who call themselves her family?! Their desperation to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a shot…but even their best intentions might not be enough to make it work! And can he even work with these five unruly women? No matter what, he’s got his work cut out for him! A fun new romcom by the author of Fuuka and Suzuka!

The first season of the anime aired during the Spring 2023 anime season and is available on Crunchyroll.
