Japanese band Omoinotake has been announced as the ending theme song artist for My Hero Academia Season 7, with the song being titled “Tsubomi.”

TK from Ling Tosite Sigure was previously revealed to be the opening song artist, and the opening theme, “Dare Ware Tame,” was previewed in a trailer released last month.

My Hero Academia Season 7 is set to premiere in Japan on May 4. April will have four My Hero Academia Memories recap episodes.

This new season will introduce Romi Park‘s Star and Stripe.

My Hero Academia is an adaptation of the Weekly Shonen Jump manga by Kouhei Horikoshi, which began serialization in 2014 and has 40 tankoubon volumes as of April 2024. Viz Media describes its plot as:

Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn’t got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. Season 1 of the Bones-produced anime began in 2016. Season 6 started in October 2022 and ended in March 2023. The fourth My Hero Academia anime movie, My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next, will arrive in Japanese theaters on August 2.
