Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Previews Main Characters in New Visual

A new visual for the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest anime has been released, previewing the designs of Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, and the rest of the main characters.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will premiere this July. It is based on the sequel to Hiro Mashima‘s Fairy Tail, with story and layouts by Mashima and art by Atsuo Ueda. Kodansha USA describes the plot as:

Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the whole Fairy Tail Guild are back in action! And they’ve decided to tackle the “100 Years Quest”—a job no one’s dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago. A mysterious town, a baffling spirit, a ghastly new enemy…and a brand new continent to explore. When you’re with real friends, the adventures never stop!

The Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest manga is serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket and has 17 tankoubon volumes as of April 9, 2024. It began in 2018.

The original Fairy Tail manga ran from 2006 to 2017 and inspired a three season anime with over 300 episodes in total and two anime movies. A-1 Pictures was involved in the animation production of all the previous seasons, with co-credited studios including Satelight (Season 1), Bridge (Season 2 and 3), and Cloverworks (Season 3).
