A third Delicious in Dungeon trailer and a new visual have been released to preview the anime’s upcoming second cour, which begins in April.

The trailer includes previews of new characters and the new theme songs, the opening “Unmei” by sumika and the ending “Kirakira no Hai” by Regal Lily.

The cast additions to Delicious in Dungeon include Mitsuho Kambe as Izutsumi, Yoko Hikasa as Maizuru, Akari Kito as Benichidori, and Yoshino Furuya as Inutade.

Cour 1 started on January 4. Netflix streams the show overseas.

Delicious in Dungeon adapts the KADOKAWA-published manga by Ryouko Kui, which began serialization in Harta in 2015 and released its 14th and final tankoubon volume on December 15, 2023. Yen Press describes the manga as:

When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions…and a member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!

The manga previously received an animated promotional video for its eighth tankoubon volume. Both the PV and the series are directed by Yoshihiro Miyajima (SSSS.Dynazenon assistant director) and produced by TRIGGER.
