Results of Manga We Want to See Animated 2024 Ranking Revealed

The results of the Manga We Want to See Animated 2024 Ranking have been revealed ahead of AnimeJapan 2024.

In first place is Hami Nakasora‘s Shinanonchi no Ikuru, a comic essay that follows the kid siblings Ikuru and Shinano during the late Showa era. Nakasora began posting chapters on their website in 2021, and KADOKAWA published the first tankoubon volume in 2022. The third volume was released in December 2023.

In second place is Shougakusei Emumoto Emumi no Kattekimama Life by Emufujin, also a comic essay. The manga follows the elementary school student Emumi, the youngest daughter of a family of five. KADOKAWA began publishing the series, which started as a webcomic in 2016, in tankoubon form in 2020.

The third place holder is Maron‘sRAB (Real Akiba Boyz) no Nichijou Kaitemita, a 4-koma about the daily lives of titular breakdancing crew (Maron is one of its members). The first tankoubon volume was released in 2019 by Live Comics under the Comic Ambre label.
