Seven Seas Entertainment announced the license acquisition of KinnPorsche — a Thai-language Boys’ Love novel series written by Daemi. The series will be released in English under the company’s Danmei label.

The action-packed romance follows a hot-tempered college student, who is sucked into the criminal underworld after a chance encounter with a crime family heir.

The KinnPorsche Boys’ Love novel series inspired the internationally acclaimed Thai live-action drama, KinnPorsche: The Series in 2022.

Seven Seas will be releasing the first-ever English edition of the original novels with new covers and internal illustrations from artist Tamtam. The first novel volume will be released in September 2024, with the series available in large-trim paperback editions as part of the Seven Seas Danmei label. Ebook editions will also be available on digital platforms, and paperback pre-orders are available now.

Seven Seas describes the synopsis of KinnPorsche as:

Ever since the tragic death of his parents, Porsche’s life has been a balancing act between attending college and bartending to support his younger brother and pay off his deadbeat uncle’s gambling debt. When he witnesses a gang of thugs attacking a handsome young man in the alley behind his bar, he’s reluctant to intervene—until he’s offered fifty thousand baht to help the stranger escape.

The stranger is known as Kinn, the second son of a notorious crime family. Impressed with Porsche’s fighting skills, Kinn hatches a devious plan: hire Porsche to be his own personal bodyguard and he’ll pay off his debt. Porsche doesn’t want any trouble, especially not the kind of trouble Kinn deals in. But Kinn always gets what he wants.
