Party kara Tsuihou Sareta Sono Chiyushi, Jitsu wa Saikyou Nitsuki is based on the Futabasha-published light novels by Kage Kinoko. Kinoko revealed that an anime was in production last December.

The fantasy story is about a healer who teams up with a beautiful martial artist after being kicked out of his party for being lackluster in healing. It turns out that the healer, although lacking in his stated role, has top-class adventurer abilities.

The light novels are published under the M Novels label and are illustrated by Kakao Rantan. They began in 2019 and have four volumes as of 2020. They have also inspired a manga by Miwa Narumi. The light novels originated from a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel that debuted in 2018.
