Days With My Step Sister Anime Begins in July 2024, Main Character Designs’ Revealed

KADOKAWA has revealed that the Days With My Step Sister anime adaptation will begin airing this July.

The character designs for main characters Yuuta Asamura and Saki Ayase were released as well.

Days With My Step Sister is based on the light novel series written by Ghost Mikawa and illustrated by Hiten, which began publication in 2021 and will release its 10th volume on January 25, 2024. The books are under KADOKAWA’s MF Bunko J label.

Yen Press describes the premise as:

After his father remarries, Yuuta suddenly finds himself with a new stepsister: Saki, the greatest beauty at school. Neither of them is sure how to act around the other at first, but the two gradually grow more comfortable living together. Slowly, cautiously, patiently, two strangers become more. So begins an unlikely love story.

Days with My Step Sister began as a series of YouTube videos featuring voiced illustrations (the anime shares the same cast as the YouTube videos). The light novels have inspired a manga adaptation drawn by Yumika Kanae.
