A trailer has been released for the second cour of Ragna Crimson, which begins airing in Japan on January 13 (effectively January 14 at 1 AM JST). It includes a preview of the opening song “Kannousei Revelation” by saji.

Ragna Crimson‘s first cour premiered in Japan on September 30 (effectively October 1 at 1 AM JST) with a one-hour episode. HIDIVE, Prime Video, Muse Asia, and Bilibili streamed the show overseas. The anime is an adaptation of the dark fantasy manga by Daiki Kobayashi, which began serialization in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker in 2017 and has 13 tankoubon volumes as of November 2023.

Square Enix describes the manga as:

Defy fate. Seek absolute power. Slay all dragons!,In a world where dragons rule sky, sea, and land, those who would fight them and win must surpass the limits of normal human strength. Set on victory at any cost, dragon hunter Ragna joins forces with the mysterious Crimson. Crimson’s motivations may be obscure, but their goal is the same: to destroy the dragon monarchs.
