The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Releases “Bridge PV Trailer” for 1st & 2nd Cours

A new “bridge PV trailer” has been released for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse TV anime series, connecting scenes from the first heading into the second cour. The anime will return to broadcast on January 7, 2024 after taking a break on December 31, 2023. 

The anime’s new opening theme is “Your Key” by JO1 and the new ending theme is “Mikansei” by zakinosuke

Maki Kodaira (Pokémon Journeys: The Series [up till Episode 54]) is directing the anime series, with Shigeru Murakoshi (Management of a Novice Alchemist) as series screenwriter, Youichi Takada (Blue Thermal chief animation director) as character designer, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO (Attack on Titan Final Season co-composer) as music composer. Telecom Animation Film is in charge of the animation production. 

Meanwhile, the main voice cast for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights Of The Apocalypse includes:

The original manga began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on January 27, 2021. Fourteen tankoubon volumes have been published under the Weekly Shonen Magazine label as of October 2023. A 15th volume is set for release on January 17, 2024.

Kodansha USA releases the manga in English and describes the story as:

Percival has always lived with his grandfather on God’s Finger, a remote haven that sits high above the clouds. And though he loves the simple life, he secretly longs for adventure. But Percival’s life is changed forever when an intruder—who shares a shocking connection with him—tears away everything he’s ever known.

With nothing left to do but chase down the one who took everything from him, Percival sets out on his own. During his journey, the sheltered boy discovers that there are a lot of things he doesn’t know about normal life. Luckily, he meets friends along the way who can help him get by—but how will they react when they find out about Percival’s destiny… and how it’s connected to the end of the world?
