Hololive VTuber Ninomae Ina’nis went live on December 9 with her belated Birthday Live, “Neverland Paradox.” Originally slated for May, Ina performed a slew of her favorite tracks and debuted her new original song, “Meconopsis.”

The prelude to her penultimate performance — when she first performed “Meconopsis” — was a reflection on her first original song “VIOLET” and a teaser of what was to come soon, very soon.

“I guess it’s been quite a while since I first released [VIOLET],” Ina shared during her birthday live.

“As it was my first original song, I learned a lot from it. It’s really special to me. But as I’ve said before, It’s been a while since the first original, so maybe it’s time for a second one sometime soon. Soon? Soon.”

“Meconopsis” was arranged and composed by M2U with lyrics by WUNDER RiKU, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to encourage fans to explore the myriad of references hidden within the song.

Ina’s Birthday Live marks her first solo live since her 3D debut on February 18.
