Metallic Rouge: Main Trailer, Key Visual, January 10 Premiere, and More Revealed

The upcoming Bones original Metallic Rouge has received a main trailer, key visual, and a January 10 (effectively January 11 at 12:55 AM JST) Japanese release date. The former provides a further look at the show’s sci-fi world and action sequences, along with previews of the newly announced theme songs, “Rouge” and “Scarlet.”

“Rouge,” the opening song, is performed by Yuuka, while “Scarlet” has vocals by DAZBEE.

There’s also a chunk of new cast info: Shunsuke Takeuchi as Jean Junghardt, Yuu Shimamura as Sara Fitzgerald, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Jaron Fate, Yui Ogura as Jill Sturgeon, Kenjiro Tsuda as Afdal Bashar, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Eden Varoque, Atsushi Miyauchi as Ash Stahl, and Chiaki Kobayashi as Noid 262.

Metallic Rouge will follow the android Rouge (Yume Miyamoto) and her human partner Naomi Orthmann (Tomoyo Kurosawa) as they pursue nine anti-government androids on Mars. The anime is a 25th anniversary project for Bones and is described as a “tech noir” sci-fi show.
