A new trailer for My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! -Pirates of the Disturbance- has been unveiled, with the game now available digitally and physically on the Nintendo Switch.

The latest trailer provides a detailed introduction to the game’s setting, main characters, and general plot line.

The game can be purchased digitally on Idea Factory’s eShop page, with a two-week 10 percent launch discount also available until December 12, 2023 at 5:59 AM PST. Fans can also purchase the game physically from the IFI Online Store or from other retailers.

The physical release of Pirates of the Disturbance also includes a redeemable code for the first chapter of the My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! light novel and a 1-month subscription to J-Novel Club.

Pirates of the Disturbance was first announced on September 26, 2020 and was released on the Nintendo Switch exclusively in Japan in December 2022.

The game features an original story that takes place as Catarina is moving beyond the game’s final graduation event and avoiding all her “doom flags.” She now faces a new “doom flag” related to a sudden encounter with a mysterious pirate.

The franchise has inspired two anime seasons in 2020 and 2021, respectively. An upcoming anime film will premiere on December 8, 2023.

The series in turn adapts the original 2015 light novel series, written by Satoru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Nami Hidaka. Thirteen volumes have been released as of September 20, 2023.

Crunchyroll is streaming both seasons of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, describing the synopsis as:

Wealthy heiress Catarina Claes is hit in the head with a rock and recovers the memories of her past life. It turns out the world she lives in is the world of the game Fortune Lover, an otome game she was obsessed with in her past life… but she’s been cast as the villain character who tries to foil the protagonist’s romances! The best ending the game has for Catarina is exile, and the worst, death! She’ll have to find a way to avoid triggering the flags of doom, and make her own happy future! The misunderstanding-based screwball love comedy now begins!
