The original racing anime Highspeed Etoile has received its first full-length trailer, which previews the cast of characters and their voices and reveals the show’s April 2024 premiere window.

Aside from the trailer and release date details, there’s a character visual for main protagonist Rin Rindo and the announcement of a manga titled Highspeed Etoile: L’Entrée de Towa et Kanata with Chiaki Misono as the artist.

Highspeed Etoile is set in a world that has seemingly achieved its environmental-related goals. In the midst of all this, a next-generation race dubbed the NEX Race, which involves speeds of over 500 km per hour and the latest technology to ensure safety, was suddenly announced. Rin is a former aspiring ballet dancer who is now making her debut as a NEX Race racer.

Staff details for the 3DCG show are largely unknown, apart from Takuya Fujima (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid manga artist) being the original character designer.
