Crunchyroll Announces Javits Center River Pavilion Takeover & More Experiences at 2023 Anime NYC

As part of its growing presence at this year’s Anime NYC, Crunchyroll announced that it will be taking over all 45,000 square feet of the Javits Center River Pavilion from November 17, 2023 to November 19, 2023. The company has also revealed several anime attractions, panels, events, and many more experiences. 


Special Features at Anime NYC and the Crunchyroll Stage

Anime NYC attendees can visit the Crunchyroll Stage at the River Pavilion to watch world-renowned creators from Japan discuss and deliver early looks and premieres for anime such as Metallic Rouge, Sengoku Youko, Sasaki and Peeps, and more shows. Creators will also take fans behind-the-scenes of The Rising of the Shield Hero and Dr. STONE

The Crunchyroll Stage will feature over 10 premieres of upcoming anime like BARTENDER Glass of God, Classroom of the Elite Season 3, and The Witch and the Beast, among others. In addition, attendees can look forward to the world premiere of My Next Life As A Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! Movie.                        

Anime NYC attendees will also see the return of “The JUJUTSU KAISEN Experience” dome display, the NUMB Art Exhibit highlighting a new original work by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki, and special anime photo ops. 

Crunchyroll Games will also host a dedicated space for attendees to explore and play with the upcoming One Punch Man: World online action game, based on the hit anime series. Players can demo the game on PC and enjoy a variety of swag, including branded hair pins and Saitama masks. They will also be entered to win a premium One Punch Man: World prize pack.

Anime Merch and Swag

The Crunchyroll Store will also be selling many exclusive anime-inspired items, including new poster prints for Cowboy Bebop, FiGPiNs for Loid Forger from Spy x Family; Tanjiro from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Super Saiyan Caulifla from Dragon Ball Super

Additionally, Anime NYC attendees will get one of the earliest chances to grab items from the newly launched Cat-Eyed Boy x Deadmau5 collection. 

Crunchyroll members and their guests are also invited to test their skills at the Premium Member Arcade (presented by Crunchyroll Games) to win exciting prizes. Free swag and exclusive items will be available for Crunchyroll Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan members. 

Crunchyroll Premium Members will also have access to exclusive perks in the River Pavilion including special discounts on merchandise, access to lounge areas, and preferred seating at the Crunchyroll Stage.

Crunchyroll and the Town Hall Present: COWBOY BEBOP 25th Anniversary Concert — The Music Feat. The Sinfonietta

To celebrate the beloved space western Cowboy Bebop, Crunchyroll is teaming up with The Town Hall performance space to present the “COWBOY BEBOP 25th Anniversary Concert – The Music Feat. The Sinfonietta.”

This special musical event will be taking place the night before Anime NYC. For one night only on November 16, 2023, fans will be treated to an audiovisual experience pairing iconic scenes with symphonic renditions of Yoko Kanno’s Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. It includes some of her most iconic songs like “Tank!” and “The Real Folk Blues.” The eclectic soundtrack will be performed by The Sinfonietta, an acclaimed all-woman and majority women-of-color orchestra led by conductor Macy Schmidt, at The Town Hall in Midtown Manhattan. Tickets are available here for purchase starting October 18, 2023.
