New Collaboration Illustration Released for Adaptation of FUNA’s Works

A new collaboration illustration has been released to celebrate author FUNA‘s light novel series, each receiving anime adaptations. It also commemorates the upcoming premiere of I Shall Survive Using Potions!, which will air in Japan on October 8, 2023. 

The illustration highlights the main characters of FUNA’s three light novel series, which include Mitsuha (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement), Adele (Didn’t I say to make my abilities average in the next life?!), and Kaoru (I Shall Survive Using Potions!)

Each main heroine is drawn by their respective light novel illustrators Touzai, Itsuki Akata, and Sukima

The 12-episode anime Didn’t I say to make my abilities average in the next life?! aired in Japan from October 7, 2019 to December 23, 2019. Project No.9 handled the animation production for the series. 

The 12-episode Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement aired from January 8, 2023 to March 26, 2023. Felix Film was in charge of the animation production.

Crunchyroll is streaming all three anime series on its platform and describes the synopsis of I Shall Survive Using Potions! as: 

Nagase Kaoru, a 22-year-old office lady, suddenly finds herself reincarnated in another world. To help her survive in this new world, a being that amounts to its god gives Kaoru a younger body and… the ability to make insanely overpowered potions?! The reincarnated Kaoru must use her knowledge and cheatery to survive!
